Autonomously Enabling Actionable Intelligence
Hangar’s core technology foundation is built on the knowledge that autonomous robots, the sensors they carry and the data created will completely transform the modern economy by enabling companies and entire industries to re-engineer their operations.
The Hangar RaaS Platform consists of scalable, dynamic components that direct autonomous robotics to new data that produces results for enterprises today. We push ourselves and our partners to innovate, to integrate and to develop new solutions for our enterprise customers.
We strive to engage all parties to work with a powerful common platform designed for requesting, acquiring, processing, storing and distributing data.
We hope our collective outcomes become measured in life-changing quality of life metrics that result from the practical applications of our solutions that are defining a new computer epoch; one where cognitive machines match, outperform or enhance human performance in a range of work activities.

Specialized viewers provide optimized user experiences for examining vertical structures
Human intelligence, augmented intelligence and pure computer-driven intelligence.
As this evolves our collective outcomes become measured in life-changing quality of life metrics that are outcomes of the practical applications of rapid advances in mobile robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning that are ushering in a new age of autonomicity defining a new computer epoch; one where cognitive machines match, outperform or enhance human performance in a range of work activities.
The automation and intelligence derived from these refined work activities presents unprecedented massive potential impact. Virtually no industry will be untouched by these innovations. Furthermore those of the poorest performing industries stand to be completely transformed and enjoy economic impacts that may well help lift society to new levels of shared prosperity.
That’s the Hangar RaaS Platform Purpose.
The construction industry still has generally low levels of automation. That looks set to change, however, as technological advances – in robotics, for instance – open up enormous new possibilities. New technologies in the digital space (such as unmanned aerial vehicles, low-cost sensors, remote operations and autonomous control systems) could become significant enablers of innovation in construction equipment.
Crucial Platform Capabilities
Hangar’s software, architecture and technology-enabled ecosystem provides a complete solution for digital transformation and actionable insight for enterprises. The best news is that engaging the power of the Hangar RaaS Platform is easier than you can imagine. You just request data and our platform kicks into gear working for you.

The holistic nature of the platform is easiest to understand from the customer’s perspective. All the hassles of regulation, logistics, dispatch, safety, data conveyance, data transformation is of no concern to the customer. Data is requested easily from a map and delivered back to customers in a map powered by a very high-speed delivery engine.

Request Data
Hangar presents all captured data assets within your MapSight. Secure access is controlled by who you invite to your organization. Simple.
Requesting data is a simple “right click.” Your data will be available within days and then flows as through a spigot that has been opened, capturing your sites monthly, weekly, daily or even multiple times per day. The data capture will pause or stop when you request.
From the Enterprise perspective that’s as complicated as it gets. Hangar and our partners take care of all the rest.

Plan & Capture
After the initial mission plan is designed a FAA Part 107 certified operator will be dispatched to arrive at your site. The operator will be briefed to follow your safety protocols as well as our own while capturing the data.
A special part of the plan and capture components of our platform is the Hangar Mobile SDK & Mission Format Standard. The Hangar Mission Format is a flexible, open specification that allows developers to describe Missions in a vendor agnostic, composable, and asset-centric way.
What are the benefits of a Mission Format Standard? For more information please see Developer page or contact us.

Precision Mission Execution
The foundation of the Hangar Mobile SDK is the Mission Framework, that includes the mission format and mission execution. The mission format is a flexible, open specification that allows developers to describe missions in a vendor agnostic, asset-centric way. That’s where Autopilot shines.
Hangar’s Autopilot – Cornerstone for Repeatable Capture
A drone operator viewing the execution of a precision planned Autopilot mission experiences a scientific and artistic marvel. The common first reaction to watching the aircraft execute with precision, self-correcting, compensating for environmental conditions, with phenomenal accuracy adhering to the mission plan is humbling. It becomes readily obvious that operating over a large construction site is much safer than manually operating the aircraft manually.
Autopilot users and industry experts extol its benefits loudly, often and consistently. The ability to save and share missions, to persist missions as capture assets geo-tagged to a specific location or piece of infrastructure (cell tower) for future use are examples of powerful capabilities that remain unmatched in the industry today.
Underlying this fantastic technological innovation is the autonomous flight control engine that is designed to execute future missions on other mobile robotic sensor platforms as well.

Data Ingest & Transform
Anyone who has struggled with the difficulties and challenges of moving tens of gigabytes of video or other large file types knows it is complex and time consuming.
Using the Hangar RaaS Platform process is simple and easy. A tight system-level integration allows the operator to “fire and forget” uploading gigabytes of data easily, reliably and fast. Getting the data assets off the storage device and onto the platform for the transformation engines to kick off their processes is a breeze.
Data Transformation & Insight
Hangar’s RaaS Platform is designed to connect a our partners’ software capabilities seamlessly including transformations, object recognition, machine learning and extracting augmented intelligence insights from your data. Our job is delivering your data anyway, or ways you desire it.
Decision-makers now can compare the digitized reality data to other digital assets, like CAD and BIM models. This enables opens doors for new advanced calculations, measuring, and analysis tools; exciting things happening in the world of building “big things”.

View & Receive
The JobSight family of browser-enabled viewers is our mainstream viewer solution available today. It facilitates the creation, comparison, and communication of a “digital history” of every capital project location for our enterprise partners and customers. Our partners are encouraged to build customized viewers using these reference applications along with our Hangar APIs.
All your digitized visual assets are all processed and assembled together for you. Active projects regularly captured are automatically updated to your MapSight with direct links to your JobSights within hours. JobSight is designed to organize and present your data to be optimally useful to your enterprise stakeholders.
See our developer pages to learn how we’ve made it easy for you to build your own industry-specific viewers on top of our platform.
It All Comes Down to Digitizing Our World
What was the status of the world around us at a specific place, and a specific time? How did will that compare to the next month, week, day, hour, or even minute? We can only see so much of our world from where we stand. But with robotics autonomously executing precisely planned missions, we’ll develop a more complete, multi-dimensional understanding of how the natural and man-made structures and infrastructure of our world are evolving.
